This workshop is designed using the behavioural description interviewing technique & contains the following modules;

  • Understand the purpose & content of an ideal hiring system.
  • Effective use of pre-screen interview forms.
  • Distinguish between behaviour description (bd) & traditional hiring strategies.
  • Understand why behaviour description (bd) is more effective.
  • Differentiate between bd & traditional interview questions & responses.
  • Use the interview guide to conduct effective bd interviews.
  • Demonstrate effective & appropriate probing techniques.
  • Learn to capture bd responses in the star format.
  • Take effective & defensible bd notes.
  • Tate candidates using a systematic method.

assessor training workshop

This half day workshop trains selected individuals to be able to assess candidates at a structured assessment/development centre or skills matching day. the objectives of the workshop are;

  • Make accurate, informed, objective assessments.
  • Use & apply a generic model of assessment during the assessment centre.
  • Assess the range of exercises used on the assessment centre.
  • Integrate information from more than one exercise.
  • Make a fair & objective final decision on the selection of candidates.

This workshop, which should be attended by the key players in your business, will facilitate the identification of the company's mission statement, vision & values & what the key performance indicators are that would make a potential or existing employee successful within the business.
