Consultant Radiologist for 10 Sessions per week

Our client in Wales is currently looking to recruit a full-time
Consultant Radiologist to join a small team of Radiologists,
Radiographers, administration and clerical staff.
The team includes 2 Consultant Radiologists, the Radio
diagnostic Imaging Services manager, his deputy/ultrasonographer;
lead Radiographers for CT, MR, mammography, fluoroscopy/RPS and ISO
9001:2008 quality management system. In addition there are a core
of six band 6 Radiographers, two PACS administrators, and two
medical secretaries.
The scope of the work will cover referrals for a specialist
radiological opinion on examinations performed on patients
attending the centre. In addition radiology representation on site
specific multi-disciplinary teams, support in tumour margin
identification for complex radio therapy planning and working
closely with the Clinical Trials Unit. There will be scope and
flexibility to develop this post in line with potential candidate's
interests.

appropriate to a centre of excellence, and where possible to
improve this through research and development. The Centre is a
modern, well-equipped, purpose built Unit providing Medical and
Clinical Oncology, Palliative Care and diagnostic services in a
single Speciality Hospital to a population of 1.5 million
throughout South East Wales, receiving over 5,500 new patient
management referrals each year.
