Job Title: Director of Patient Services
Base Location: Mobile working
Salary: £ 65,000 (Negotiable depending on
experience)
Hours of work: 37.5/pw
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Director of
Patient Services, who is being sought to be responsible for the
planning, developing and delivering our client's Operating Plans,
in line with its Strategic Goals and Targets.
The role also includes the managing, monitoring and the delivery
of efficient and profitable Patient Services, to ensure that the
quality of patient care is at the main point of the organisations
vision.
The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years' experience in a
senior role within a service industry environment; experience of
managing operational performance to ensure return improvement,
within agreed financial and budgetary frameworks. You will be asked
to actively lay out an intervention programme to obtain feedback
from patients, intended to develop and improve our client's
performance.
You will be expected to:
- Be flexible with working hours
- Be familiar with the requirements of the Companies Act
2006
- Promote our client's values
- Meet all statutory responsibilities as a director
The ideal post holder will set clear objectives for the Patient
Services Management Team, providing an appropriate "customer
training" to all staff and ensuring maximum and active
involvement of the team in the production of plans in order to
achieve excellent customer service, financial goals and business
objectives.
Important skills are:
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of operational aspects of NHS Organisations
- Ability to face tight deadlines and to handle stressful
situations
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Ability to manage large, diverse, multi-site workforce and to
face up to a wide range of audiences
