We are currently recruiting for a number of radiographer Job positions throughout the UK. Our clients include both private and NHS hospitals and the pay is dependent on the level of experience you can offer. Radiographer Jobs vary in responsibility and this tends to depend on whether you are working in a Radiographer Job post, a Senior Radiographer Job post or a Lead Radiographer Job post.

Standard Radiographer Job responsibilities include:

  • Provision of a professional and clinically competent radiography service
  • Maintain own knowledge and competence in radiology and techniques Participate in the staff appraisal and development programme and undertake mandatory training as required.
  • Ensure familiarity with the operation of the equipment and attend training sessions as necessary
  • Assist in the recruitment and orientation of new radiography staff
  • Assist in the development of policies and procedures for the department and comply at all times with Hospital policies and procedures
  • Participate in the Hospital Quality Assurance programme
  • Participate in staff duty rotas, to provide an adequate and appropriate radiology service for both routine and emergency procedures
  • Make bookings and prepare patients for radiographic examinations
  • Communicate effectively and sympathetically with patients and relatives
  • Ensure good communication with other hospital departments
  • Liaise closely with Radiology staff, to ensure prompt completion of procedures and prompt reporting of films
  • Assist in the production of information to assist the patients' understanding of Radiographic procedures
  • To be familiar with all documentation and ensure that accurate radiology records are maintained
  • Ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained
  • Report, investigate and document incidents, accidents or complaints promptly, in accordance with hospital policies, and undertake review in order to prevent reoccurrence
  • Promote a healthy and safe working environment for yourself, colleagues, patients and other visitors and ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Report faulty or defective equipment promptly and arrange prompt repairs
