Vision Express Optometrists also are supported by the Professional Services department in their continuous development (CET), with options to avail of managerial training, joint venture and franchise opportunities- as well as a number of specialised roles that cater to your talents, whether in the coaching and development of others, or in expanding your commercial or clinical knowledge.

With a long standing association with Vision Aid Overseas, there are also opportunities to play a role in providing excellent eye care where it is needed most.

This has obvious impact on the patient experience as everyone can offer a high degree of professional care, in a smoothly run environment where everyone is expert at eye care.

With a commitment to invest fully in their practices, it is a great environment to work in. State of the art equipment and attention to detail is what you can expect. The practices all have a separate pre-screening area, that allows the smooth flow of patients and all of the team are trained in pre-screening, so there is maximum support for the Optometrist.

The role of the dispensing optician is also made easier and smoother, with a computerised records system. Each practice also comes equipped with a comfortable dispensing area, with computer software that allows the dispenser to demonstrate the different products and their benefits to the customer.

Whatever your current level of experience, if you would like to be a Vision Express optometrist there is flexibility to work part time, in busy central practices or in more community focused practice in rural areas. Or you can work across two or more practices for variety- the choice is up to you.
